I would say this curriculum is great for children that are not performing at grade level or may find school challenging but I would not suggest this curriculum for normally functioning children or for gifted children. I have to agree re ACE curriculum, except when it comes to special needs children. I have done well with it. I have spent time with a stopwatch timing them in math drills and reading their creative writing assignments to ensure that they meet the guidelines that the curriculum stipulates.
