This is a very quiet mic, so wherever you’re playing, you’ll need to increase your input volume. If you actually wanted something in the uber premium realm, both the HyperX Cloud Orbit S and the Audeze Mobius sound far better — they’re slightly more expensive, but might be worth it.

All gaming headsets don’t have the best microphones but the new astros do have some of the best mics but if you do want the best mic quality, u can buy a regular microphone on amazon, like the blue yeti and some others. I went to one of their streams and the mic quality coming through discord is indeed terrible.
Moreover, getting the headset to actually charge in the cradle took a little fiddling. The velour ear pads are great for gamers with glasses, offering a softer, more flexible material for establishing a decent seal, though it offers worse isolation than leatherette.

The Astro Gaming A50 Wireless is an expensive, flimsy gaming headset, but if you're fine throwing elastic on the headband, you're in for something comfortable.
