This reminds me when I had to install G Hub the first time and my G933 suddenly got this muted sound, but got fixed and everything was back to normal. The G Pro’s disappointing stereo sound also gets an upgrade to surround sound on the G Pro X. If not then i must send it back because i can't play with 7.1. I've spent thousands on heads from logitech to Astro.

Stereo sounds MUCH better in audio quality and when turning on surround in g Hub, it's like 10x bass boost + super low mid/high freq chaos. Never had any issues with the G933, besides some faulty drivers that got fixed.

It's day and night comparison. Also, try to disable the "Mono" sound option in your computer's audio settings.

So how is the surround sound now, did you fix it? Or any other fix. the has too much bass when u dont have ghub tho. If I disable DTS:X as you say, won't that remove the purpose of the headset considering I purchased it because the Blue Voice function? Still feels "muted" and cheap.

I cannot enable DTS whatsoever, it does not apply no matter what, I got the PRO X Wireless that just got released. Fortnite seems worst in this regard - Apex Legends and Counterstrike sounds much better BUT still not it a way, where I'm able to tell the direction of sounds, which is what I bought the G Pro X headset to be able to do in the first place. Just upgraded from Logitech G933. Logitech claims the headset has a functional range of 15 meters (about 49 feet), and I never ran into anything that would challenge that claim.

When i use it with my other soundcard i can use stereo but then the headset doesn't show up in G HUB... so no blue voice and equalizer... Is it possible to use blue voice and stereo? Were you using Dolby or DTS on your G933? But again, there must be something holding back the performance on this headset. Click on the Surround Sound tab and uncheck the box that says enable surround sound.

Install the dts headphone x app from windows app store. Weird directional sound, low detail in sounds and lack of bass.

There’s a slight de-emphasis in the bass range, but otherwise the headset accurately outputs sounds up to around 3kHz. This worked for me! I have same problem but when i uninstalled ghub it sounded better but ofc the blue voice wasnt usable then. Also have the app open when trying it. I had to do this as well and when I hit off again it showed up. I have an extensive audio background and I can say that the PRO X is the opposite of flat when compared to G933 in stereo. I mean this headset sounds cheap! to do this, you need to plug in the headset with the USB DAC Adapter. Disable surround sound in the g pro software.

It was my impression that surround headsets really did have several speakers inside the ear cups so I was surprised to see, that they don't and it's all fake. Make sure all cables are fully plugged in as well. 32000Hz seems like a pretty standard value. There must be some sampling rate in the G Hub software that is not taking into account the windows setting.

Comparing the standard sound from Pro X and standard sound from G933 without any adjustments shows huge differance in sound quality. I went ahead and bought them.

Windows settings are still the same. Don't get me started on the surround sound. Compared to my old Hyper X Revolvers, they are lacking bass and mid range. I suspect logitech is "aware" of this issue and I hope they patch this in the g hub software soon, to be honest this is down right embarrising. Using Beyerdynamics for a long time, and I can say: This apps do enhance tracking a little bit, but also made the experience that DTS Headphone X sounds like its coming from a tin can compared to Dolby Atmos for Headphones or the standard stereo sound.

And I was expecting pretty similar sound experience with the new PRO X, only slightly better.

Never owned it but I read on other sites you're supposed to EQ it yourself to make it sound how you like. Edit - It looks like I couldn't enable DTS without changing to CD quality actually. Now, if you have a Logitech G430, G633 or G933 surround sound headset, you’ll be able to toggle between Dolby 7.1 Surround sound and DTS Headphone X profiles. My JDS Labs DAC and Amp with just a set of studio Audio Technicas is 100x better than any of them.

It does seem, how ever, that it also depends on what game I run. Also have the app open when trying it.
