Most have around two dozen ingredients, and many require the use of pots and pans in addition to the instant pot. Aside from folks who need to adhere to a special diet, it’s hard to imagine anyone who wouldn’t find at least some of the recipes in Dinner in an Instant: 75 Modern Recipes for Your Pressure Cooker, Multicooker, and Instant Pot quite appealing. I looked online and found a blog post that says low pressure produces unreliable results. I didn’t have brandy, so I used bourbon. Final product was juicy and flavorful; I'd make this again. Definitely nothing you can make in an instant. I love this version of chicken and dumplings. However, if you want a little more variety, Dinner in and Instant has recipes we loved.

The hardest-to-find ingredients we found were star anise pods and garam masala, or perhaps the mustard greens, which might be seasonal. We enjoyed this. Used 3 sausages; Needs more seasoning - salt, pepper, garlic - play with it. I used soy chorizo rather than meat sausages, and sliced them into coins before browning. I was looking for a chicken soup to soothe a cold, and this was just perfect.
Five people enjoyed this little cake. I needed to make a salt-free version, so I cooked the onions until they were deeply caramelized to make sure the sauce was very flavorful.
