While I’ve recommended it before, General Colin Powell’s autobiography bears another mention. It draws from law enforcement and military scenarios and research to give Soldiers a glimpse into what combat will do to them. He has been a student of leadership for two decades and designed The Military Leader to help other leaders develop themselves and grow their organizations.
