Among smartphone users, Google Pixel comes under esteemed category not just because it’s expensive but due to its origin traces straight back to the Mountain View tech titan. I am not even getting missed alarm notifications. Often, simple tricks are the most useful. An update to my guess is then this issue is triggered by the connection of a Bluetooth device, as many users also report this issue occuring when they connect their Bluetooth devices. Meanwhile, a temporary workaround (other than rebooting) that worked for some but not all is: I read an article that describes the problem and it suggested that it was something to do with Bluetooth and instructed to turn on Bluetooth restart turn off Bluetooth restart again and just like that for whatever reason it was back to normal. Most phones let you switch sound modes from the volume buttons itself. After reading through replies, it seems to be a very recent (last week or so) serverside change by Google. As a result I highly advise your update your device to the latest version, alongside your Google app.
