It’s very much a group effort. It was a really wonderful moment getting this role. But it was more things that I read about like… And I guess these are sort of negative things, but if women were working in public service and they got married, they had to stop working. I love all these little mentions of women’s history, stuff that isn’t necessarily taught in school, or is even part of our public imaginings of history. I think the most important part of it, for her, is realizing that she has inherited these traits that her aunt had as well.
