UNLOPS represents the Departments Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA), Peace Operations (DPO), Operational Support (DOS) and the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) in Brussels and liaises on all matters related to peace and security that fall under the remit of these four entities. Furthermore, the EU and its Member States are the largest financial donors to the UN system. The EU is one of the world’s largest public stakeholders in the areas of development and emergencies.
